Allen West continues to raise a third of all campaign funds from out of state, and in turn out-of-district in a deliberate attempt to subvert the democratic will of the electorate of district 22 in Florida.
West is a short term resident of South Florida. After living in Texas for 20 years, he moved to South Florida, and then shipped off overseas as a
private military contractor in Afghanistan training Muslim fighters for two years, soon after his return he announced his candidacy for Congress in 2007, leaving little time to get to know his community. His candidacy has been funded from the start by national right wing media attention fawned upon
West in a blind attempt to protect him from prosecution for his war crimes.
